Adelaide is our gateway city, where you can choose to travel to Kangaroo Island with a 20-minute flight or 4-hour road and sea journey, both with daily services. Most of our guests choose to fly for convenience or due to time constraints.
Collectively, our team covers catering, travel planning, logistics, business management, marketing, and guiding to offer you the very best of Kangaroo Island day tours and multi-day tours.
We have a collaborative approach, working with a stable of accommodation houses, adventure operators, artists, hand-crafted food and wine producers and researchers to deliver an immersive experience. We see our job as connecting you to the special place which is Kangaroo Island.

What To Expect

Exceptional Kangaroo Island specialises in small group and private touring. Travelling in 4WD vehicles – small groups tours have a maximum of 10 passengers.
The focus on ‘wildlife in the wild’ with a strong ethical approach of no handling, feeding or captive animal experiences remains central to our promise. Today there is much discussion globally about responsible travel and sustainable tourism – this has always been fundamental to their operation. All tours include a home baked morning tea, an elegant lunch in the bush with South Australian beers, wines and soft drinks, and all admission fees.

One full day of share touring, either Island Life, Flinders Chase Focus, East End Explorer or Fine Flavours tour. Please note, Island Life tour will be booked unless otherwise specified at the time of booking. Our Island Life tour has a focus on wildife and finding them in their natural habitat, which is what clients generally want to experience on our tours.
