Great Southern Rail - Indian Pacific, Perth to Adelaide
The mighty Indian Pacific from Perth to Adelaide (and vice versa) is a three day / two night journey. From Perth the journey begins winding through the Avon Valley towards the outback gold mining town of Kalgoorlie. The Indian Pacific then embarks on the awe-inspiring Nullarbor Plain before travelling down through the stunning Flinders Ranges and Spencer Gulf on its way to Adelaide. From sweeping valley views to saltbush plains and rich farming lands, guests are amazed by the ever-changing scenery beyond the window.
Platinum Service provides a spacious private cabin with ensuite configured with a deluxe lounge chair by day, converting to either a double bed or twin beds by night. Enjoy the vastness of Australia in the comfort of your private cabin with large picture windows and cabin stewards attending to your needs. Platinum Service includes all meals on board the train, off train touring and private transfers at the start and completion of the journey.
Gold Service provides either a twin Cabin configured as a three-seater lounge during the day and converting to bunk beds at night with compact ensuite facilities. Alternatively, a single Cabin configured as a single lounge chair converting to a bed at night with wash basin facilities, and toilets and showers located at the end of each carriage. Gold Service includes all meals on board the train,beverages and off train touring.
Red Service offers two-abreast chairs with generous leg room and chairs that swivel allowing four travelling guests to face each other. The chairs have in-armrest stowed tables for convenience and recline approximately 45 degrees . Red Service guests have access to showers, toilets, toiletries and fresh towels. With access to the fully licensed Matilda Cafe for purchase of beverages and freshly made salads and hot meals, budget travel has never been this good.
