Booking Information & Conditions
Broome & The Kimberley Holidays specialise in selling Broome, The
Kimberley, Western Australia & Northern Territory. With over 20 years
of expert knowledge, Broome & The Kimberley Holidays give you the security
of knowing all itineraries are professionally organised, ensuring visitors will
experience the best your chosen destination can offer.
Tickets & Documentation – All tickets and vouchers will be issued on
receipt of final payment being made to Broome & The Kimberley Holidays.
Minimum Booking Requirement – A minimum booking value of $500 is
required. Should the booking value not reach this minimum, a $20 booking
fee will apply for all reservations made via our telephone reservations
centre. All bookings transacted via our website do not have a minimum
value requirement and booking fees will not apply.
Deposits – A non-refundable deposit of $150 per person is required
within 7 days of making your booking. Some bookings may require additional 3rd
party deposits. Where full payment is received immediately, a deposit of $150
per person is deemed to be a portion of the full payment. A deposit acts to
hold the services requested but does not guarantee prices.
Amendments – A fee of $55 per amendment per file, will be charged once
deposits have been received. Changes may also incur a fee from the tour
operator, carrier or principals with which your booking is held and will be
Final Payment – Final payment must be made no later than 35 days prior
to departure (45 days for Rail and 95 days for Cruises) to avoid automatic
Advertised specials require FULL payment within 24 hours of confirmation
Prices – All prices in this brochure are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD$)
and are subject to change without notification. All prices are land only and do
not include airfares to featured destinations.
Pricing Surcharge - Some suppliers may place a surcharge during special
events, school holidays and long weekends throughout the year, please check
prior to booking.
Credit Card Fees – Payments can be made with credit cards subject to the
following surcharges on the total booking value:
Mastercard and Visa 1.65%
Fuel Surcharges – Prices are subject to change due to suppliers
implementing a fuel surcharge or increasing existing fuel surcharges.
Late Bookings –. Bookings made within 35 days of travel, or inside supplier
cancellation fee periods, will require a Credit Card Guarantee before requests
for confirmations can proceed.
Hotel Accommodation Definitions – Per room per night cost is based on
1-2 passengers sharing the room unless otherwise stated.
Photographs – Images displayed on our website are included as a
guide only. Hotel room photographs are representative only and actual
rooms occupied may vary in decor and inclusions from those shown.
Responsibility – Information featured on our website and in our
brochures has been supplied by the people and organisations (Suppliers)
providing the various goods and/or services (Products). In supplying this
information to you, we are acting as the agent of such Suppliers. We take
all measures to ensure that the information featured in our brochures and
on our website are accurate at the time of publication, however, we do
not control the manner in which Products featured are provided. We disclaim and
will be exempt from liability for anything to do with the supply of such
Products. This includes liability (whether as a matter of contract, tort,
statute, restitution, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential
loss, liability, claim, cost, expense, proceeding, demand, penalty,
disappointment, death, injury, illness, shock, inconvenience or delay. This
limitation of liability also applies irrespective of the cause, including
negligence of us or a Supplier, withdrawal, cancellation or failure to provide
a Product, delay, any variation in the Product, the provision of substitute
Products or a change in the Supplier. Without limitation, we will not be
responsible if the Product is not available due to inclement weather conditions
or other Acts of God, civil disturbances, fire, floods, acts of Government or
any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or
industrial action. Broome & the Kimberley Holidays cannot accept any
responsibility for any operator changing or withdrawing prices, details or
services shown, all are subject to alteration without notice.
Broome & The Kimberley Holidays is a wholesaler and in the provision of
holidays acts solely as an agent on behalf of the principals. These principals
are all land and transport suppliers including the range of hotels, car
companies and boat companies used in the holidays by the client and featured in
the Broome & The Kimberley Holiday brochure. Broome & The Kimberley
Holidays is not a principal and acts solely as an agent between the principal
and the third party (client) it is not responsible for monies paid in advance
to the principal by Broome & The Kimberley Holidays on behalf of the third
party (client) if the principal is unable to provide that service either by
default, insolvency, liquidation, change of ownership or operation
Concessions – Some suppliers offer senior and pensioner
concessions. A valid Seniors concession card number will be required for some
suppliers in order to receive reduced rates.
Child Costs – Child costs, where they are available at the time of
booking are at the discretion and on the conditions of the supplier. Child ages
vary per supplier.
Travel Insurance - Broome & The Kimberley Holidays and our third
party providers and distributors do not include insurance cover in connection
with our products and services. We strongly recommend travel insurance, which
can cover many potential losses including, loss of deposit and cancellation
fees. Ask a Broome & The Kimberley Holidays reservations consultant
for a recommendation of policies to suit your needs.
Minimum Numbers – Some tour operators require minimum numbers to confirm a
tour. As such, some bookings may be waitlisted until these minimum requirements
have been reached. If a tour is not confirmed for this reason, a full refund
will be issued. Broome & The Kimberley Holidays cannot accept
responsibility for 3rd party suppliers cancelling itineraries due to
min numbers not being filled.
Hotel Deposit – Some hotels may require a cash deposit should you be
unable to provide a credit card imprint.
Hire Vehicles Age Limit – 25 years is the minimum but some companies make
special allowance for drivers 21 years and over. Provisional licences are not accepted.
All hire rates in this brochure include collision damage insurance. A
non-waived damage excess applies to all vehicles.
A bond for petrol and insurance excess is payable to the company at the time of
collection of your vehicle. This bond is fully refundable, less petrol, when
the vehicle is returned in an undamaged condition. Bonds are usually taken in
the form of a credit card deposit or pre-authorisation of a credit card however
other forms of payment may be accepted, each individual car hire company varies
as to what they will accept. Insurance is completely void for normal sedans if
driven on unsealed roads. All distances, driving times, and maps shown in this
brochure are designed as a guide only. Additional charges will be levied direct
to Car Hire Operator. Please refer to Terms & Conditions provided to you at
time of booking.
Identification - You may be asked to present photo
identification to the Supplier or Carrier upon check in.
Transfers - Some accommodation suppliers provide courtesy transfers from
airports/railway stations. It is essential that these transfers are
pre-booked. Some Tour Suppliers provide complimentary pick up and return
drop off to your holiday accommodation. All tours and transfers must be
re-confirmed with the supplier at least 24 hours prior to departure directly
with the service provider.
Complaints – Where problems are incurred during travel, it is
imperative that you inform the Supplier immediately in order for the Supplier
to rectify the situation as quickly and effectively as possible. If you
do not do so it may hinder the ability of the Supplier to resolve your concerns
and to ensure your holiday is exactly to your liking. If booking issues
require the assistance of Broome & The Kimberley Holidays to be resolved,
we request that all complaints are forwarded to our General Manager in writing,
immediately on your return.
Cancellations – If you cancel or terminate your holiday we will charge a
Prior to Final Payment – there will be no refund of your deposit ($150
per person) or any additional supplier deposit that may have been collected.
After Final Payment – refunds will be assessed at the discretion of
Broome & The Kimberley Holidays and our suppliers, less the initial deposit
per person. Should passengers wish to re-book within 12 months, 50% of
the deposit will be held in suspense to be credited to a new booking.
Please advise at the time of cancellation.
Refunds on Services – In respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing,
tours or other services which were included in the holiday cost but not
utilised, a refund processing fee of $55 per booking plus any other
cancellation fees charged by our suppliers will apply.
